MegChem – Belutécnica Joint Venture: Official Launch at FACIM 2024

We at MegChem (Pty) Ltd are thrilled to announce our strategic Joint Venture with Belutécnica, a leading Mozambican engineering firm, at the 2024 Feira Internacional de Maputo (FACIM). This partnership marks a significant milestone in our journey and underscores our commitment to expanding our presence in Mozambique and the broader Southern African region. The official announcement took place at Mozambique’s largest international trade fair, FACIM.

A Landmark Announcement at FACIM 2024

FACIM 2024 provided us with the perfect platform to officially introduce the MegChem – Belutécnica Joint Venture to the world. The event, held in Maputo, brings together global and regional businesses, government officials, and key industry players. We were honoured to have Mozambique’s President, Filipe Nyusi, attend the event and highlight the importance of partnerships like ours in driving economic growth and development in the country.

During our announcement, we highlighted the synergy between MegChem and Belutécnica and our shared vision of enhancing engineering, procurement, and project management services in Mozambique. By combining our expertise in process, mechanical, and civil engineering with Belutécnica’s local knowledge and established market presence, we are confident that our Joint Venture will set new standards in the industry.

Our Vision and Goals for the Joint Venture

Our Joint Venture with Belutécnica is more than just a business partnership; it’s a commitment to redefining the engineering services landscape in Mozambique. Our goal is to provide innovative and customized solutions that cater to the local market’s needs while adhering to international quality and safety standards. We are particularly focused on serving the oil, gas, power generation, and petrochemical industries.

“We are excited to officially launch our Joint Venture with MegChem here at FACIM 2024,” said Elisa Gustavo A. Simbine – Commercial Director. “This partnership allows us to combine MegChem’s technical expertise with Belutécnica’s manufacturing and strong local network, enabling us to deliver unparalleled engineering solutions in Mozambique.”

Looking Forward: Innovation, Sustainability, and Local Impact

As we move forward, our Joint Venture is committed to driving sustainability, fostering local talent, and making a positive impact on the communities we serve. We plan to invest in the training and development of engineers, equipping them with the skills necessary to lead complex projects and excel in the global market.

We are also dedicated to incorporating environmentally sustainable practices in all our operations, aligning with global efforts to promote greener energy solutions. Our focus on innovation and responsible business practices will ensure that our Joint Venture not only succeeds but also contributes meaningfully to Mozambique’s development.
