JOB DESCRIPTION:

Electrical engineering and design duties include providing technical leadership to the electrical engineering team. Business development, preparation of proposals and quotations. Development of works information and technical specifications for the procurement and installation of equipment and services. Mentoring and developmental support to junior members of the team. Managing the workload, resource loading, performance, delivery and quality of work packages. Maintain and grow client relations.

EXPERTISE & TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

•   B Eng / BSc Eng degree in Electrical Engineering.
•   Professional registration with ECSA as a Pr.Eng will be an advantage.
•   Minimum 5 – 10 years’ experience in engineering on MV / LV type projects relating to industrial plant.
•   Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the petrochemical environment.
•   Experience in detail design, engineering and specification of equipment / networks. Candidates to illustrate their abilities by means of examples.
•   First-hand experience of driving to get tasks done. Result orientated and a proactive problem solving attitude.
•   Organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team, self-disciplined & self-motivated.
•   Good interpersonal relations.
•   Good report writing skills in the English language.
•   Valid driver’s license (Code B / EB).
