PETRUS JOHANNES JANSEN VAN RENSBURG

Petrus is MegChem’s Principal Project Manager, bringing over 20 years of experience in executing engineering and multidisciplinary projects within the petrochemical industry. His expertise spans mechanical engineering, project management, procurement, fabrication, and construction, making him a key contributor to MegChem’s success in delivering complex projects.

Having started his career at MegChem as a Mechanical Engineer, Petrus quickly advanced through leadership roles, including Engineering Manager and General Manager at Transfab, where he gained invaluable experience in fabrication, procurement, and site installation. Since 2012, he has been leading projects in the Western Cape region, managing high-profile clients such as Astron Energy (previously Chevron), Eskom, ACSA Cape Town, and ArcelorMittal.
