EBIT week at the University of Pretoria

On 12 July 2023, Zanezipho and Linda Magqabi attended an EBIT week at the University of Pretoria. They were hosted by Prof Jaco Dirker and Mr Tlou Mokobodi from the Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering Department at UP.

Zanezipho gave a presentation to a class of about 80 learners. He gave a brief background on MegChem and the services it provides to industry. He then showed the learners how a typical project is done starting from understanding the scope of work, setting up a team and assigning roles and responsibilities, linking the presentation to what learners are doing at school to application of those concepts in engineering. He demonstrated how engineers interact with one another in multidisciplinary projects.
